Business Broker – assist business owners in selling their business. Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline or equivalent experience. Must understand income statements and balance sheets. This position is all about keeping buyers and sellers “comfortable” while guiding them through the sale of a business. This is done by being on top of the situation, solving problems and utilizing strong leadership skills. Duties will include:

  • Interacting with and educating business owners regarding the sale of their business
  • Assisting business owners in preparing & offering their business for sale
  • Helping buyers locate businesses for acquisition
  • Matching buyers & sellers and assisting in the process of completing the sale

This is a commissioned selling position and you can expect to make between $70,000 and $200,000 per year, after a several month training period. By assisting business owner’s in selling their business we are paid a transaction success fee.

Alliance Business Ventures is an affiliate of a Broker Services Network encompassing over 280 affiliates throughout the United States. We are currently looking for professionals to join our expansion serving the Long Island, New York area. You will be working out of the Lake Grove office.

The ideal candidate has the following skills:

  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Three years (minimum) of sales experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Highest levels of integrity and character
  • Desire to make money
  • Comfortable working in a commissioned selling position.
  • Analytical/financial analysis skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and database operations.
  • Prior business owner experience a plus
